If you are planning any hikes in the Mono Cliffs or the Forks of the Credit, this may be of interest to you. Ontario Parks is implementing new parking rules for both of these areas.
As a previous visitor to Forks of the Credit Provincial Park or Mono Cliffs Provincial Park, we are emailing you regarding updates to the park entry system. As of Tuesday August 29, 2023, access to Forks of the Credit Provincial Park and Mono Cliffs Provincial Park will be controlled by automatic gates.
In order to gain access, you will have to book your visit in advance of arrival. After booking, you will receive a confirmation letter via email. Please have your digital or printed confirmation letter ready to scan upon arrival to open the gates at the park entrance. A gate barcode is located on the first page of the emailed confirmation and can also be accessed from your Ontario Parks reservation service account.
There are two ways for seasonal pass holders to book a daily vehicle permit in advance, free of charge; beginning at 7:00 a.m., five days in advance of your arrival date.
1. Online at reservations.ontarioparks.com
2. By phone by calling 1-888-ONT-PARK (1-888-668-7275) – Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
All you will need to do is provide your seasonal pass serial number when booking your daily vehicle permit. The serial number is located on the top of the back of the pass. Always have your seasonal pass displayed in your vehicle during your visit. The booking will guarantee your entry into the park.
