Pine River Nature Reserve Parking Lot – Official Opening Ceremony and Hike

The Dufferin Hi-Land Bruce Trail Club has created a parking lot 35 metres west of the intersection of 15 Side Road and Prince of Wales!

Parking lots are important. They are safe parking spaces for trail access that lessen trail user impact on local landowner properties, decrease snow removal issues and reduce risk to drivers.

The work was completed Aug 14, and the parking lot is now in use. The location will be added to the Bruce Trail App early September.

Many thanks to Carl Alexander (DHBTC Land Securement, Landowner Relations and Trail Maintenance Coordinator), Township of Mulmur Road Foreman Bruce Crawford, and Tim Patton of Lorne Patton Construction Ltd.
