Hope you are all getting out and enjoying the wonderful Ribbon of Wilderness we call the Bruce Trail this summer. Due to recent vacancies, we are looking for two volunteers who would like to take up positions on the Board for our club. Board members participate in monthly local club meetings, various BTC meetings and are responsible for their specific duties in the role of Director. We are looking for folks interested in the following two positions. If you are interested and/or want additional details, please contact me at your earliest ability:
1) Land Stewardship Director:
The Land Stewardship director is responsible for the land stewardship program for our club- supporting land stewards in caretaking BTC lands in our area.
2) Hike Director:
The Hike Director is responsible for coordinating the hike program for our club including overseeing the hike schedule, supporting hike leaders and ensuring new and on-going hike leaders have appropriate training and are following guidelines.
