The Bruce Trail Conservancy has been working to remove invasive species such as European Buckthorn, Periwinkle (pictured), Dog-strangling Vine, Garlic Mustard, Phragmites, and more from BTC-owned properties all along the Niagara Escarpment.
With the support of our partners in conservation and dedicated volunteers, we’re continuing to stop the spread of invasive species along the Bruce Trail.
Ahead of Invasive Species Awareness Week, we encourage you to read the BTC blog to learn more about these non-native species and how you can help protect biodiversity on and off the Trail. Learn more about invasive species here: BTC Blog
