Full Moon Hike – January 31, 2026

Winter Badge Series Hike #3 of 4

It was a clear night with a glorious full moon lighting the way for the hikers participating in this 6 km hike through Mono Cliffs Provincial Park. As the evening progressed, the air grew crisp and invigorating, with the temperature steadily dropping to -15 degrees Celsius by 7:00 pm, almost balmy after -23 degrees Celcius! The serenity of the park, illuminated by the moon’s silvery glow, created an enchanting atmosphere for a full moon hike in the DHBTC section of the park.

Many thanks to hike Leader Bryan Foley.
