A recent trail improvement in The Boyne Valley replaces a redundant and deteriorating boardwalk with a very short reroute onto dry ground where minimal or no future maintenance will be required. The boardwalk has been removed.
This trail re-route replaces the boardwalk found when starting up the northern slope of The Boyne Valley, the trail turns west off the Centre Rd allowance heading towards Murphy’s pinnacle.
