Mulmur Township – a Creative Approach to Traffic Calming

Mulmur’s street art initiative is now underway!

Mulmur Township is calling on local artists and volunteers to join a Street Art Collective that will use creative forces to try to slow traffic in multiple locations while showcasing local talent and beautifying streets.

This project will take place along River Road / 20 Sideroad between the Mulmur-Melancthon Townline to Airport Road. The hope is that the presence of the artwork will slow traffic by making pedestrian spaces more eye-catching.

Keep your eyes peeled over the next year for art at the following locations:

  • Pine River Institute
  • Pine River Fishing Area
  • Bruce Trail Crossings
  • Terra Nova Boundary Limits
  • Airport Road Access Point

More information on this initiative can be found in this Creemore Echo article.
