WHAT WILL THE NEXT DUFFERIN HI-LANDS CHALLENGE HIKE BE CALLED?
We are redesigning the Dufferin Hi-Land 20K Challenge hike along with the badge to go with it. We realized that we missed out on a few hills in the Boyne Valley by keeping the hike at 20K. So, we are adding an extra 5K of ups and downs to make it 25K of nothing but hills!
We are asking you to help design this: we need a new badge and a new name! How creative can you be?
The person who submits the winning name/badge will be awarded a beautiful Bruce Trail fleece!
To help you get started, here is what we know: The hike is held in June. It will be 25K, starting at the first line parking lot, going south to the Boyne Valley side trail, looping around there and returning to the start location. If you have done this section, you know the hills!
Submissions can be sent by Clicking Here to Contact Carol Foley. Deadline is February 28th, 2019. They will be reviewed by a team.

Winter End to End Badge
Dufferin Hi-Land Bruce Trail Club will again be offering the four winter hikes required to earn our Winter End to End badge. Hikes include both leisurely and moderate pace options in some of Dufferin’s most beautiful areas. Our popular moonlight hikes will be held on January 19 and February 23, 2019. Daytime hikes are scheduled for January 12 and February 9. Snowshoes or icers are strongly recommended for all hikes. Full details will be posted on the Dufferin Hi-Land BTC website, https://dufferinbrucetrailclub.org/hikes/
